  satisfaction to the customer by the
  improvement in quality of the product or
  service with reliability. This leads to the profit
  of the organization or the company and gives
  value to it in the global market.
• Quality is conformance to the requirements

• Targeting the failures
• Analyzing their root of cause
• Finding the solution
• Performing the idea to problem
• And looking the outcome, whether it satisfies

• The nearer combination is for the best quality as
  they can remove more and more defects.

Editor's Notes

  1. Whenever we are in challenging scenario, we need to take decision in very much correct way so that the problems could be resolved. The organization has several decision makers who are very much experienced and/ or intellectual persons. But for one problem if number of people are working then the solutions generated by them becomes more complicated as we are not much clear to identify, which is the best solution? As the best solution is control of our process, our system and finally the organization, it should be more compact and practical describing the quality of the system.
  2. Now we analysis where is the problem, why we are not successful, why the decisions are not matching to the needs?
  3. The persons, energetic value and their dedication is to be indentifiedThe individuals involving, should show the required information level (collection of data, knowledge, innovation, technology etc.)The practice level of individual, is their ability of doing the job, number attempts, experiences, training etc.Problems comes when we are confuse to identify “whose problem was that”, at operator level or at management level
  4. In the above diagram, the triangle is showing the pyramid to reach the best result. The two sides are representing the information level and practice level. At the bottom of the triangle the situation is very much clear to each and every people from ground level, means easy practical but length of the bottom of triangle is showing the confusion length, which means chance of confusion and disturbance is more. Owing to these, the achievement is inadequate.As the information and practice level is gradually increases, the chances of best achievement also increase with decrease in confusion rate which is by decrease in length of bottom of length of triangle. Here the length of bottom of triangle, which is showing the chances of confusion, may be several numbers of solutions from a single problem, several ideas, individuals etc. With all this the problem is to minimize the confusion.Look Area of quality for the practice level. When the area decreases, means defect area is also in decrement, hence quality is increasing with increase in area of other side. Inside the area of quality or area of defects, we can put the relating information, which we have to improve or reduce. This gives the clear cut picture of data and is understandable to all level individuals.
  5. Here we have 4 individuals named as A, B, C, D. A has information level of 6, B has information level of 05.C has practice level of 9, and D has practice level of 3.Blue lines are plotting the different levels on BOT Chart. Here we can see the combination by connecting line of color brown.If we select B and D, then area of quality is less than area of quality when we select A and D. Similarly, if we select B and C, then its area of quality is higher than AOQ of B-D and A-D. And finally the AOQ of A-C is largest in the chart. Means A and C have the more capacity to reach the line of quality.Another thing is that, if we select A and B, then only information level is strong and same for the other part, if we select C and D, only practical is strong.
  6. Defects relating information or practice can be put inside the BOT Chart as shown above.As the defects are solved, it should be strike out, means we would have removed those defects.And hence the area of quality goes on increasing.
