Be Respectful

Do not delete someone else’squestionoranswer. While youcannottrack the editing,Ican anddeleting

Participation
Participationinonlinediscussionsis mandatory. Each studentisexpectedandwillreceive aparticipationgrade for
eitherpostingaquestionoransweringaquestion overthe durationof the unit. Questionsandanswersmustbe
relevanttothe course and itscontent – thisissubjective tothe teacher’sdiscretion. Questionsshouldbe specificand
focuson the lesson,explanationsandclarification,activities,andthe practice problems; theyshouldnotbe directed
towardsthe digital assignments.
The onlyexceptiontothe online participationisthe final project,inwhichall questionsneedtobe done viaemail to
myself (mheizer@somedomain.com)orinpersonbefore,during,orafterschool –there will NOTbe a questionlog
available forthe unitproject.
How to Post or Answer a Question:

I acknowledge thateachstudentmaybe indifferentplaceswithinthe unit,due tothe online setupandflexibility of the

Technical Troubleshooting
Shouldyouencounteratechnical concern, please refertothe includedvideosinthe course asmanyof common
questionsare addressedthere. Technical questionsare allowedwithinthe QuestionLogandencouraged,butwill not
count towardsthe postingoransweringaquestionrequirement. Extreme technical problemsorquestionsshouldbe
emaileddirectlytome. Formaximumandquickestresponse,include pictures,videos,screenshots,etc.of the problem
and whatyou have tried. Thiswill aidmyself,andothers,tohelpyoueffectively.
2. Teacher CommunicationRole
I will checkthe question logdailyandanswerunansweredquestionsaccordingtothe suggestedpacingprovided. Soif
youwork aheadand have a question,youmayneedtowaita day or twofor othersto catch up. I do notanswer
questionsrightaway,toprovide otherstudentsthe opportunitytoanswerandfulfilltheironline participation
requirementaswell.
