URMET SISTEMI - MILESTONES
In 1963 Urmet Sistemi S.p.A. was founded in Rome (originally named Urmet Sud SpA) focused, under Urmet Group, in the development of systems and telecommunications equipment with high technological content.
Major projects installed in Telco Operator Networks (Telecom Italia, Telefonica of Spain etc) are: Intelligent Network SCP, Intelligent Periferal, Service Node.
In 1995 Urmet Sistemi started activities in the Lawful Interception, quickly becoming the technical leader in the Mediation Devices for the Country - DFD (Data Distributor Voice) – introducing significative innovation in this world.
In 2005 Urmet Sistemi joined in the railway market, designing solutions in the monitoring and diagnosis of signaling systems for both traditional lines for high-speed trucks.
In 2006 Urmet Systems S.p.A. is merged by the Urmet TLC S.p.A. Turin (formerly Urmet S.p.A.)
In 2011 Urmet Systems S.p.A. came again as an independent company, within the Urmet Group, to continue the development of high tech network solutions.
