MUXL was proud to present its third edition of the annual Mobile UX London Conference - https://mobileuxlondon.com For the last three years, I’ve been leading a global team of designers working in the area of Internet of Things. I started my career as a designer 15 years ago designing Java applications for Nokia mobile phones. I then moved to IBM as a designer on their predictive analytics platform before being promoted to my current role. As well as being the design lead I’m also an experienced UX designer and enjoy the opportunity to teach ‘Design Thinking’ to clients from large corporations. The Internet of Things (IoT) promises to have a profound impact on our daily lives. It’s more than one technology or product, it’s a whole eco-system that needs to work together, spanning many types of users resulting in some real UX challenges. In this talk, you’ll get an understanding of the different users that designers in this area are having to consider, along with examples of how good UX is needed to support such a diverse set of users.
