4. Our Monarch Experiences
Monarchs have always been a part of our lives. As little kids, we caught them in
butterfly nets, and now we breed them from eggs. One of my personal memories
with them was when I was about 6 years old, I caught my first monarch that very
day, it was something special. I never wanted to let him go. I specifically
remember feeding him small fruit slices in his little cage, he licked the juice up,
and it was very amusing to little me. He left me with one of my favorite memories
ever, and it would break my heart if they went extinct.
