BTEC Certificates of Achievement are issued for successful completion
of Short Studies programmes and modules taken individually.
Other BTEC qualifications are:
oBTEC First Certificates and Diplomas
oBTEC National Certificates and Diplomas
oBTEC Higher National Certificates and Diplomas
oBTEC Continuing Education Certificates and Diplomas
The codes used overleaf to indicate the levels of modules in BTEC
programmes are:
F module designed for First Certificate/Diploma programmes
F/N First-level module in context of National-level programmes
N module designed for National Certificate/Diploma programmes
N/H National-level module in context of Higher National programmes
H module designed for Higher National Certificate/Diploma
programmes
CE module designed for Continuing Education
Module values indicate the proportion of formal learning support required
for each module. The total value of modules satisfactorily completed must
meet the minimum module value requirement for the programme.
