What is integrated
marketing communications?
Natalie Glaser, marketing & advertising expert
Integrated marketing communication, according to
the American Association of Advertising Agencies,
acknowledges the strategic roles that different communication disciplines--such as advertising, sales,
public relations, and so on-- play in providing consistency, clarity, and increased impact on audiences
when connected to a complex communications plan.
In simpler terms: applying steady brand messaging
across both traditional and non-traditional
marketing channels.
In order to run a successful integrated marketing
campaign,
marketers and businesses should understand a few key concepts
Understanding their

And thus, choosing the correct
channels to get their message out.
Maintaining consistency whilst also remaining timely
Employing a team of
marketers, creatives,
developers, etc.,
