This document discusses two cases of children with chronic abdominal pain. In both cases, laparoscopic caecepexy was performed, which involves surgically fixing the caecum in place. For the first child, symptoms completely disappeared after surgery, suggesting the cause was a mobile caecum. The second child also experienced resolution of pain after the same procedure. Mobile caecum syndrome can cause intermittent abdominal pain due to improper attachment of the caecum. Surgical fixation of the caecum is an effective treatment for this condition.
