2. Lessons from Creation
In his isolated home John was able to study
more closely than ever before the manifestations
of divine power as recorded in the book of
nature and in the pages of inspiration. To him it
was a delight to meditate on the work of
creation and to adore the divine Architect.
3. LANDGiant sequoias are the world's largest single trees
and largest living thing by volume. Giant sequoias
grow to an average height of 50–85 m (164–279 ft)
and 6–8 m (20–26 ft) in diameter.
4. SEA
The Oceans cover some 70 percent of Earth's surface, yet
humans have only explored about 5 percent, meaning 95
percent of the planet's vast seas have never been seen.
The blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus) is a marine
mammal belonging to the suborder of baleen whales. At 30
metres (98 ft) in length and 180 metric tons (200 short tons)
or more in weight, it is the largest known animal to have ever
existed.
