Built on behalf of Al Ghaith Industries, the Chlor Alkali Plant will be located at Mussafah Industrial City of Abu Dhabi 1 (ICAD 1). The project is on Engineering Procurement, Construction (EPC) – Lump Sump Turn Key (LSTK) basis. Main product of the plant is Caustic Soda and by products are Hydrochloric Acid, Sodium Hypochlorite and Calcium Chloride. In terms of plant technology and process, Membrane Cell Technology based on Asahi Kesei Chemical Corporation, Japan and Caustic Flaking Technology, Switzerland will be used. Fabrication will be done from Nuberg’s state-of-the-art fabrication facility in Gujarat, India. The facility has ISO, ASME, U Stamp and IBR etc. accreditation. The plant is a big step by Al Ghaith Industries to help build UAE's non oil dependent industry.

2. Chlor Alkali Chemical Plant in Abu Dhabi
Nuberg Engineering has been awarded USD 15 million Chlor Alkali / Caustic Soda Chemical EPC Project
by Al Ghaith Industries in Abu Dhabi. The turnkey project is for doubling Al Ghaith’s Caustic Soda
Chemical Plant production capacity from 140 TPD to 280 TPD. India based Nuberg has been chosen as
the EPC Contractor for the Chemical Plant project in Abu Dhabi. Nuberg Engineering is already in
process of commissioning first phase of the Greenfield Caustic Soda EPC Project with capacity of 140
TPD. The Chemical Plant shall produce products like Caustic Soda, Hydrochloric Acid, Sodium
Hypochlorite and Calcium Chloride to cater to the local and regional oil and gas industry in the Middle
East.
