- 4. 1) Disseminating methodology i. Translating the OECD Benchmark Definition of Foreign Direct Investment, 4th edition into Arabic i. Organising training sessions for data compilers but also to acquire in-house ability to train other staff ii. Dedicated web sites for frequently asked questions iii. Promote dialogue with users, academics FDI Statistics of MENA: possible action plan
- 5. 2) Promote regional co-operation i. Formal organisation at the regional level ii. Create an FDI network of experts to share • data • expertise • experiences iii. Establish a formal working group • Hold regular meetings • Joint publication s/web site for the region • Invite experts iv.
