3. Where did the idea of ORCID CA begin?
■ The “what if” seed was planted by the Canadian chapter of
the Consortia Advancing Standards in Research
Administration Information (CASRAI-CA) in late Spring
2016 with others quickly joining in the conversation
■ Research Data Canada (RDC), Canadian Resource Knowledge
Network (CRKN), CASRAI-CA, Canadian Association of
Research Libraries (CARL) were among those orgs keen to
help move the planning forward.
