2. Questions in my mind before going for FDP
Why Faculty Development Programme (Just to get a tag or
anything else)
Whether it will benefit me or not
Whether it will provide me an edge or not once I come back
Whether is it going to make the significant difference when
it comes to my way of teaching
Will it make any difference on my research acumen
Whether I will be able to show my existence in a group of
forty FDP participants at IIM A
The big question was shall I be able to deliver in
consonance with the expectations of my stake holders i.e.
whether difference in me shall be noticed by my peers and
my dear students once back to the pavilion

Human Resource development philosophy says
Competencies among Human resources can be developed
at any stage, level, age
As such faculty development programme at IIM A has
shown me that philosophy works in academics.
Because as of now after coming from the programme I
could feel difference in me ……but yes as my peers and
students you are yet to identify the difference in me
…may take time but I am sure
The focus of IIM A through FDP is to develop overall
competence at academic training and research endeavors
among the participants
