LinkedIn is better because1) More option for personalization to make your profile unique
2) Support multimedia, which is a much better way for showing off your accomplishment
Other sites tends to be more resume-focused & text-based.
I don’t agree with any of those reasons because LinkedIn serves a different purpose & I know there are ways to get around those problems.
See, I’m right there at the bottom. And regardless whether you’re a pharmacist, project manager or director, a lot of you in this room are here with me at this level. Not only are we unknown (with no name or brand equity), we’re also competing with millions of other workers out there for opportunities. With competition like this, wouldn’t it make sense to make yourself stand out?
