● Users can attempt a quiz on their mobile device using the Moodle Mobile app.
● All standard question types and question behaviours are supported except from essay questions
with attachments.
● Additional plugins won't work in the app unless the plugin include support for mobile remote add-
ons.
● Quizzes requiring safe browser are not supported.

● Allows users to download a quiz to
attempt later offline.
● A quiz may be attempted offline only if:
○ There is no time limit set.
○ The question behaviour is deferred
feedback (with or without CBM).
○ There is no network address
requirement.
● Valid responses are not downloaded.
● Requires 2.6+, MM additional features
and Quiz offline attempts plugin.

26. Remote add-ons support

● A MM remote add-on is the mobile app version of a Moodle
plugin that will be loaded when a user accesses the site on the
app.
● They are stored within a Moodle plugin and are downloaded and
lazy-loaded by the Mobile app.

Improvements and fixes
● Empty topics are not displayed in the sections menu.
● Images in remote themes are downloaded so they are available offline.
● Large multimedia files are now served via streaming.
● Login via the browser can now be accessed via embedded browser instead of the device
default browser.
● Module activities are now moved to addons/mod.
● Push notifications plugin updated.
