Pyramid is a web framework for Python and one of many projects under the Pylons Project. We will discuss the latest developments in Pyramid and other Pylons Project projects. We will then demonstrate a recently developed Pyramid application used by public electric utilities to analyze and reduce costs associated with injury and illness. The Pyramid application integrates with OAuth and Django REST Framework providers. It was a collaboration with a small team, with one person taking the lead, and serves as a good example of what a one-person shop with a little help can do with Pyramid.
