This is a speech on -Swach Bharat Abhiyan is not a Slogan Only. It explains that only common man can make India, A clean India.

Swacch Bharat Abhiyan is not a slogan only

A very very glorious morning to respected judges, faculty members and my dear friends. I am
Purvi Jain in front of you to present my views on “Swacch Bharat Abhiyan is not a slogan only”
Slogans Jai Jawan, Jai Kisaan, Garibi Hatao, Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas…. Which slogan has
become true today so that this Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, I want to ask my friends if Swacch
Bharat Abhiyan is not a slogan only then?
Why not a single street is clean in our country?
Why Dustbin is just a figure on paper?
Why Jhaadu is in hands not for cleaning but for photo shoots?
Why 2 lacs people die every year because of dirty water?
Why hospitals make you sick?
Why 99.5% people are inhaling polluted air?
Why E Kachra is degrading the health of people?
Why Railway stations and bus stations are the most unhygienic places?
And why flowers offered to god become the cause of dirty rivers?
Truth is India is not clean and is also not on the path to be a swacch Bharat. Actually, A country
where
Hearts are not swacch,
Mentality is not swacch,
and System is not swach
How the premises could be…
How the country could be…
We people have tendency to blame others, to expect everything from the Central power. A
single person couldn’t bring Swachta to a country of 123 crore people.
If we look in to depth we would find that for every problem we, you a common man is
responsible.
We want our home clean, but not city,
We have smart phones, but not smart soch.
We don’t have etiquettes to use public toilets
We eat gutkas and shower it here or there.

2. We don’t consider the matter of swachhta a serious one and we are the one who want
everything perfect but don’t want to be the part of perfection.
The increasing number of people suffering from dangerous diseases is all the symbol of
aswachata in the country.
We are living in a democratic country so swach Bharat Abhiyan would be successful only when
it is Abhiyan of people, by people and for people but with the understanding that only
comments on Facebook, Tweets on Twitter, Profile pics with Jhaadu, Road shows will not make
India Clean.
Our Commitment, Dedication, Seriousness will make India swach.
Swach thoughts, Swach Motives, Swach Actions will make India swach.
3 Rs Recycling, Replenishment, Reuse will make India Swach.
The future of our nation is in our hands so let not waste our time on blaming and claiming as
our as our aim is to make India an economic Super Power, The Cleanest , The greenest nation in
the world, then of course Swach Bharat Abhiyan will not be a slogan only.
