This is a short speech for "Teacher's Day".

Teacher’s Day
A very very Good Afternoon to you all, I Purvi Jain on behalf of all students wishes our dear, dearer and
dearest mentors Happy Teachers Day.
A teacher is a word which is beyond imagination,
A teacher is an Ocean of Knowledge,
A builder of nation’s future,
Our Friend, philosopher and guide.
Ours is a country of glorious teachers and students… Dronacharya and Eklavya, Swami
RamkrishnaParamhansa and Vivekananda, Tirthankar Mahavir and Gautam Gandhar and ofcourse we all
students of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. We have great teachers, but today the situation is not so as it
have to be.
I am a student but still I feel that today the sense of willingness, accountability and responsibility is
missing among us. Social Networking, Bunking Culture, Drinking, smoking have become status symbol
for students.
It is Important to realize the fact that what we all are because of our teachers, our gurus, our mentors
only… So we must respect them from bottom of our hearts.
The way they teach,
The knowledge they share,
The blessings they shower are precious stones given to us by our teachers.
So, I wanna conclude by a poem.
If all the trees of the world were one, what a great tree it would be.
If all the rivers of the world were one, what a great river it would be.
If all the citizens of the country repect their teachers, what a great country it would be.
