October 2013-present: Volunteer Admin Helper at Glasgow Vineyard

Developing customer service skills by serving and assisting customers at
church’s local foodbank and helping out on collection days at local
supermarkets- being part of the front of house team handing out
shopping lists whilst checking and storing food in store.
Writing up Church’s connect cards on a computer based database,
showing a knowledge of technology.
Responsible for effectively dealing with customer complaints and
ensuring that they receive the high quality customer service that they
deserve.
Ensuring that the offices remained clean to a high standard, involving
high amounts of energy and enthusiasm.
Helped create a student’s lunch for the parents in the church, which
enables new Christian students who are thinking about finding a church
find out more and get to know existing members of the student body.

2. Welcoming children into the holiday club space and ensured that they felt
both at ease and unconditionally welcome.
Ensuring that the holiday club space was clean and presentable at both
the beginning and end of the days’ sessions.
Developed the role of ‘The Professor’, which allowed the children to
access Bible Stories in a clear and yet amusing manner.

and researching whether the prices could be matched or bettered on
competitive online market places such as Amazon.
Maintaining high levels of customer service, even when the shop is very
busy and there is pressure to serve customers both quickly and
efficiently.
Developing skills in visual merchandising, to ensure that the customers
could navigate the shop with ease and enhance their customer
experience.

Developing my communicating skills through writing both academic and
freelance writing regularly and undertaking several presentations with
colleagues.
Managing my time, successfully balancing a large university reading list
and workload with commitments such as being a member of the Cecilian
Society, Glasgow University’s musical theatre society whilst never missing
deadlines.

Am part of Glasgow University’s first Musical Theatre Society as an

Subject Representative for Scottish Literature in my first year, where I
listened to my classmates’ comments on the course and then took them to
a higher authority.
