institutions, women leaders and concerned

 The ultimate goal of WPC is to dialogue with
the Members of Parliament (MPs) and Policy
Makers at National Level, and raising issues
at Regional and International Forums to
influence policy level decisions.

  • 2.  Non-profit & Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to gender justice and women's empowerment.  The largest advocacy body for women in India to ensure the effective implementation of gender friendly legislation and ensuring the active participation of women in policy outcomes.
  • 3.  It is a membership based organization with both individual and institutional members committed to creating gender balanced society. As of date it has a membership base of 1400, in 28 states.
  • 4. • Intensive Dialogue On Women and Legislative Coordination On June 5, 2004 in New Delhi which resulted in forming of the Working Group.   • 5.  Major coalition of women’s groups, academic institutions, women leaders and concerned individuals.  The ultimate goal of WPC is to dialogue with the Members of Parliament (MPs) and Policy Makers at National Level, and raising issues at Regional and International Forums to influence policy level decisions.

Mission To provide timely, just and regular input on public policy, budgets and legislative matters, including their proper implementation for positive impact on the lives of women and children and to promote equality between men and women.
