how to exploit social
media to garner small
individual donations

merchandize or
artefact strategy

3) Payment gateway for micropayments is a must.
Pursue Integrated marketing
1) Integrate communication, and advocacy and Fundraising teams
2) Both off-line and On-line mediums must resonate
3) Program or Delivery specialists must involve for advocacy
4) Online marketing including paid inserts pays off.
Optimize, efficiencies & reward performance
1) Outsource functions like IT, elements of HR like payroll, procurement
2) Benchmark and drive efficiencies
3) Increase “Open innovation” and “Volunteer” efficiencies
4) Reward for performance

  • 3. Fundraising: frozen in time. 1) Most Non-profits have not rejigged their fundraising option. 2) Many do not know how to exploit social media to garner small individual donations 3) Many have no merchandize or artefact strategy 4) Events not well integrated
  • 4. Marketing lacks integration 1) Non-profits suffer from structural limitations that inhibit free integration across inform, influence and advocacy 2) Communications, advocacy and fundraising not coordinated 3) Employee branding under utilized
  • 5. Weak Program Management Non-profits suffer from 1) Functional silos of delivery and program management 2) Low ownership structures and outcomes 3) Stakeholder and outcome conflicts

  • 9. Optimize, efficiencies & reward performance 1) Outsource functions like IT, elements of HR like payroll, procurement 2) Benchmark and drive efficiencies 3) Increase “Open innovation” and “Volunteer” efficiencies 4) Reward for performance
