 Spring is a lightweight framework. It can be thought of as a

 Spring framework was initially written by Rod Johnson and
was first released under the Apache 2.0 license in June 2003.

5. Spring MVC Architecture
 Spring MVC helps in building flexible and loosely coupled web
applications.
 The Model-view-controller design pattern helps in separating the
business logic, presentation logic and navigation logic.
 Models are responsible for encapsulating the application data.
 The Views render response to the user with the help of the model
object.
 Controllers are responsible for receiving the request from the user
and calling the back-end services.

Step 2 - Create Bean Configuration File
create a Bean Configuration file which is an XML file and acts as cement that
glues the beans ie. classes together. This file needs to be created under the
src directory as shown below:

9. Autowiring in Spring
 Autowiring feature of spring framework enables you to inject the object dependency
implicitly. It internally uses setter or constructor injection.
 Autowiring can't be used to inject primitive and string values. It works with reference
only.
