That’s exactly how the ActiveBuilding® community portal works. It’s designed
to be the center of all of your property’s activity. If residents have a package at
the office or need a running toilet fixed, a visit to the portal provides a place for
service requests and status updates. A community wall enables residents to find
a work-out buddy, post pictures and updates, or even sell their used furniture, all
within the safety of their private community portal. Onsite employees can also
join the discussion to act as subject matter experts, answering questions and
relieving concerns. If more challenging community issues come up, the staff can
handle property-based concerns on the private community’s wall, before they
go public.
For community-based messaging, the property staff can send messages to the
entire community by mass email, text or voice notification within seconds. They
can communicate information quickly across any subset of residents, such as pet
owners, a certain building's residents or all residents on a specific floor.

When a resident’s lease is up, RealPage Online Renewal makes renewing the lease effortless – for both
staff and residents. Completely automated, this tool offers an entirely digital path for residents to renew. Not
only is the experience clean, familiar and mobile-friendly, but it’s also integrated with our price optimization
system to maximize your revenue and provide the most competitive renewal rates and terms for
your residents. This added convenience to residents results in fewer negotiations around rent increases.
The offer is delivered on time, electronically, and can be enhanced to include incentives like time-sensitive
rental rate offers, gift cards or unit upgrades. It can also drive additional revenue by upselling services or
amenities and connecting these upgrades with their renewal rates. When the resident does sign, the entire
process − including the signature − is completely digital. On average, residents renew their leases within

pay, including credit and debit card, check, money order, ACH payment and
eMoney Order. Residents can pay anywhere, on any device, with any form of

Our comprehensive insurance solution protects your community from unforeseen danger, while vacant cost recovery and utility billing defend your bottom line. Combined, these services create a dynamic living experience for your residents and far-improved efficiency for your staff, delivering a level of accessibility that is unmatched in the industry. ActiveBuilding is the heart of the Resident Services platform, helping you communicate with residents, manage service requests and more.

Your online presence should be a key component of your relationship with your residents, not only drawing them in, but bringing them together and encouraging them to stay. That’s exactly how the ActiveBuilding® community portal works. It’s designed to be the center of all of your property’s activity. If residents have a package at the office or need a running toilet fixed, a visit to the portal provides a place for service requests and status updates. A community wall enables residents to find a work-out buddy, post pictures and updates, or even sell their used furniture, all within the safety of their private community portal. Onsite employees can also join the discussion to act as subject matter experts, answering questions and relieving concerns.
