I know exactly how you feel, I spent the first 15 years
of my adulthood struggling with the same issues,
taking care of everyone else’s feelings and desires
while ignoring mine, living up to the box society,
community and family put me in not wanting to
disappoint anyone making them happy while being
miserable myself.
Later on, I learned that what we don’t have we can’t
give; so if I wasn’t happy I can’t make anyone else
happy. , if I didn’t love myself I couldn’t offer proper
love or attract the right kind of love.

Reinventing Yourself
It is a choice it is YOUR choice, a choice
that no one can take away from you so go
for it and start today start now it is never
too late
Of course reinvention is based on
“Change” and change requires “Courage”

Intro
• Are you afraid of making changes to your life?
• Do you get anxious, stresses and even frustrated at
the slightest change?
• Your dream might be getting that promotion, moving to
a new city, find your soul mate, have a sincere talk
with someone, wanting to quit to start your business
but worried about income, want to leave a relationship
but scared of loneliness, THOUGH can't work up the
courage to actually do it, as if something seems to be
holding you back.

1- Standing up for what you believe in; no matter what the cost is?
2- Knowing that you are taking a risk but motivated to follow through
3- Acting despite what you feel as fear? Following your heart?
5- Keep going even in face of adversity and challenges?
6- Getting out of your comfort zone?
7- Is it having faith no matter what you go through?
8- Ability to do something that frightens you?
9- Ability to do something that you know is difficult or dangerous

Courage
Courage is NOT being fearless, it is acting
despite of fear; meaning that fear is present, but
your motivation is bigger than your fear.
Originally meant “To speak one’s mind” telling
whatever you have in your heart and mind.
The highest degree of courage and self-
confidence is your willingness not only to be, but
also show “ vulnerability”

Courage
It has an impact in all areas of your life some
examples are:
• Putting yourself first to achieve your dreams
• Overcome obstacles
It is not about the end of the race but about
every single mile of the race till the finish line
and the courage that it takes

Any Change requires Courage
• Change: No matter how small requires
courage, you step out of your comfort zone
and face off your status Quo, fear starts
taking over this is a natural defense
mechanism.
• Fight or flight.
• Fear requires courage to fight it so you can
become the person you want to be

• Running away is easier than facing challenges,
ONLY on the short run
• Courage is the ability to face your own mistakes,
and deal with them
• It is starting something new knowing there is a
chance to fail, you still do it
• It will give you the rewarding life you always
wanted

Courage
• Is a choice you take to go through your life journey
Requires both a toughness of mind and focusing on
opportunities which requires optimism
• Either live in fear, not living the fulfilled life you
deserve OR advance with courage despite of the
fear
Future is not a door you go through, you create it
using the power of courage, commitment , and
imagination, allowing yourselves to be inspired by who
we really need to become

1. Personal Courage: Where you commit to a
better YOU and a better future so you get the
courage to act, these actions lead you to success
2. Professional Courage: Where with open
communication you face the conflicts at work,
bring diverse teams together, you deal with
diversity and differences. You take risks and
stand for what is right and not what is popular.
The risks you run are” Not being liked, being
marginalized or punished, being resented

How to create Courage?
• Reframe the narratives in your mind
• Stop the anxiety centers to over activate from
worry
• Increase blood flow to thinking centers
• Think positive (Negative thinking is the default.
• Personal leadership is about the willingness
for bold moves and the courage to take
decisions
• Courage requires facing fearful situations
despite of discomfort so you need to have
“persistence”
