The Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, Olusegun Obasanjo Center for Engineering Innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
 Machine design and research works as need arises within and out the polytechnic communities
 Accreditation support to school of engineering and school of science.
 Laboratory equipment and workshop equipment services/repairs for the polytechnic community.
 Reporting the activities of Foundry, Machining, and Fabrication/Welding units to the Director of the
Centre, also Supervising the mechanical unit. Job schedule and monitoring. Estimating jobs and
submitting same to the Director for approval.
 Coming up with Engineering design (Using AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor Professional &
Simulation CFD) and improvement of various machines for domestic and small scale industry.
 Fabrication works to specification and good finishing like Rotary Furnace, Crucible Furnace,
Annealing Furnace being used in Foundry workshops and some other Machines as requested by the
customer.
 Fabrication of Electroplating plant

2. MECHANICAL ENGINEER I /TRANSPORT OFFICER 2011 ~ 2014
The Federal Polytechnic Ado-EKITI, Maintenance and Services Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
 Reporting day to day activities of the unit to the Director of Maintenance and services.
 Technical services in the area of Vehicle fault trouble shooting using OBD scanner CP9185. Repair of
Automobile Engines (Petrol & Diesel Engines) 4 Cylinder, 6 Cylinder, V8 ,V6 and Repair of Generators
of all kinds 10KVA-500KVA.
 Investigation and evaluation of available technologies and recommend cost effective & efficient
equipment specification for user in the workshop. Compile, implement and oversee the necessary
installations and acceptance policies, procedures, work practice and specifications.
 Design and fabrication of machine parts for use in workshop and to meet customers’ specific need and
design. Coming up with Engineering design (Using AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor design Software).
 Repair of machine parts in accordance with engineering procedure and standards and routine
maintenance of the machinery and mechanical engines
 Maintenance of Generators of all kinds.
 Installation and maintenance of surface pumps, submersible pumps in bore holes and well.
3. MECHANICAL ENGINEER II 2007 ~2011

RESPONSIBILITIES
