3. AUDIENCE RESEARC
Overall finding of research &results of focus group:
Although they were all against the new law, they draw
attention to both sides of the argument.
This highlighted to me that this argument is a gateway
to many other unexplored subjects and issues to do
with young people and politics. I plan on using my
focus group results in my interviews with the head of
child services and other youth workers that may be
featured in my documentary.
Audience Profile:
Age: Primarily; 13-35
Secondary; 35-50
Gender: Male & Female
Hobbies & Interests:
Music, Sports, Drama, School ect.
Social Class: All
4. RESEARCH INTO FACTUAL
PROGRAMMING
MARKET
•What did I learn, what will I do, what won’t I do.
Video gaming addiction: past students work:
After watching this there’s many things that I
picked up on and will not do in my
documentary, for example the interviews
weren’t realistic and it wasn’t at all appealing
considering the target audience was
teenagers. Also it contained too much
unnecessary information and the narrators
voice was very monotone making the
documentary boring .
