Performed failure analysis on a variety of fab process technologies.
• Identified root cause of customer returns, qualification failures and yield issues through global
fault isolation techniques and systematic problem solving techniques.
• Successfully identified anomalies causing digital logic, analog, memory and parametric
failures. Communicated those findings through formal reports.
• Developed test programs for the Credence D-10 tester by translating test patterns from the
production test environment.
• Characterized the NVM thin film storage device test vehicle on the Mosaid tester.

Product Engineer S12 MCU division 1999 – 2006
Responsible for the 912HC12B32 MCU family with embedded 1.5T flash technology. Supported
sales of $33M in 2003, the largest volume device. Responsible for organizing and managing the
activities of three Product Engineering indirect reports.
• Introduced a MC9S12 new MCU device, the first S12 MCU with the Stepper Stall Detect
module. Supported all qualification and manufacturing readiness activities. Successfully
launched product family to the general market in 2006.
• Led engineering qualification activities of seven 9S12 MCU devices and supported
manufacturing transfers for all seven devices in 2002.
• Led the engineering qualification activity of the 0.25um process in wafer fab foundry TSMC.
• Led various engineering qualification activities that supported cost reduction and process
quality improvements (i.e. Argon Annealed wafers, Hydrogen Annealed wafers, No Back Side
etch)
• Performed customer support which included analysis of returns and development of new
tests to screen failure modes that were identified by the customer.

Responsible for the development of the 2T flash test support on the HC12 MCU Hyper integration
process.
• Developed HC12 2T flash burn-in software for the IBE environment.
Product Engineer MCU division 1993 – 1998
Responsible for supporting all engineering activities leading to the MC68F333 production
qualification
• Assigned as lead Product Engineer supporting the MC68F333 device, the first flash based
MCU device introduced by Motorola.
• Debugged the flash wafer probe process, performed yield enhancement and released a
production ready probe process to manufacturing.
