2. Before knowing about Natural Wonders , first lets know about Europe :
Europe is a the sixth largest continent that comprises the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia. It is generally divided from
Asia by the watershed divides of the Ural Mountains. There are 50 countries in Europe.
3. The Dune of Pilat is the tallest sand dune in Europe. It is located in La Teste-de-Buch in the Arcachon Bay area,
France, 60 km from Bordeaux. These dunes are great tourist site for paragliding and travelling.
4. The Gorges Du Verdon, in south-eastern France, is a river canyon that is often considered to be one of Europe's
most beautiful. It is about 25 kilometres long and up to 700 metres deep.
5. Étretat is a village in the Haute-Normandie region in north-western France. Étretat is best known for its cliffs,
including three natural arches and the pointed "needle".
6. The Blue Grotto is a sea cave on the coast of the island of Capri, southern Italy. Sunlight, passing through an
underwater cavity and shining through the seawater, creates a blue reflection that illuminates the cavern.
7. Mont Blanc meaning ‘White Mountain’ and is the highest mountain in the Alps and the highest peak in Europe. It
rises 4,810 m above sea level and is ranked 11th in the world.

9. Grímsvortn is a volcano in South-East Iceland. It is in the highlands of Iceland at the northwestern side of the
Vatnajorkull ice-cap. The caldera is at an elevation of 1,725 m. It last erupted on May 2011
10. The Barbarossa Cave is an anhydrite cave in the Kyffhäuser Hills near Rottleben in the east German state of
Thuringia. It is a cave with large caverns, grottos and lakes.

12. The Eisriesenwelt is a natural limestone ice cave located in Werfen, Austria, about 40 km south of Salzburg. The cave
is inside the Hochkogel mountain in the Tennengebirge section of the Alps.
13. Pamukkale, meaning "cotton castle" in Turkish, is a natural site in Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey. The
city contains hot springs and travertines, terraces of carbonate minerals left by theflowing. water.
14. Cappadocia is a historical region in Central Anatolia, largely in the Nevşehir, Kayseri, Aksaray, and Niğde Provinces
in Turkey. It is a UNESCO World heritage site.

16. The Dolomites are a mountain range in northern Italy with 18 peaks that reach above 3,000 meters. The wide range
of activities in the Dolomites includes hiking, biking and paragliding.
17. It is 75 minutes away from Barcelona, Spain. It’s hard to beat Salou’s Mediterranean climate, its string of beaches
and its rocky covers.
18. Norway’s fjords make up some of the most spectacular scenery in the whole of Europe. This spot can be seen from
train and is ranked among the most amazing train journey.
19. Bled Gorge situated in Slovania is located just 2.5 miles from Bled, a city in Slovania. There are several beautiful
islands in the Gorge as one seen above.
20. Sweden is one of the best places in the world to see the extraordinary Northern Lights. It is also known as Aurora
Borealis. They’re caused by charged solar particles following the earth's magnetic lines of force.
21. It a national park and some of the finest mountain scenery in all of Germany can be found here. Characterized by
high mountain peaks and steep rock faces. There are both amazing mountains and caves here.
22. Situated in France, Europe’s highest cable car starts here, ascending to 3,842 meters to reach Aiguille du Midi. Here
there is also a glass house from where a whole view of the hill can be observed.
23. Home to Austria’s highest waterfall – an impressive 380 meters. The roar of the water is almost deafening. It is
located in Hohe Tauern National Park. There are also some seriously high peaks and glaciers.
24. The hot springs have likely been used for thousands of years – the nearby Roman gate dates back to the 2nd century
B.C. In addition to the springs, there are two nearby waterfalls.
