Editor's Notes
Two WHY to think about before reaching out to young professionals:
WHY does your club want to engage young professionals? What kind of young professionals you are looking for?
WHY would young professionals join Rotary? What do they want out of Rotary?
To reach out is to build connections and providing opportunities for them to more about Rotary.
Most of the time, telling personal stories is more effective to help people know what Rotary is.
Learn about what the young professionals need.
Knowing WHY young professionals join Rotary? Make changes to different aspects in the club to meet their needs so they can be more engaged in club activities.
Benefits of transitioning Rotaract to Rotary:
Rotaract already has knowledge about Rotary, less challenges for them to get familiar with how to operate a Rotary Club
Keep the young leaders engaged in Rotary after they graduate from Rotaract
Young leaders are the future of Rotary, we’re cultivating Rotary’s future through Rotaract
How I come to rotary until creating a club
How we train our member, and use our experience for best services
