10. Why Project Fairs?
The greatest limitation for clubs for doing
projects is the lack of financial resources, thus:
A Project Fair has the objective of
providing financial support to
humanitarian projects through Rotarian
partnerships

11. Project Support
• Clubs, both local and international, provide
funds (in the long run, a small part of the
total project)
• DDF’s from districts
• Funds from TRF through GG (formerly
MG)
• Funds and work from other organizations

12. Project Fairs in Ecuador
District 4400’s first fair was held in 2004
In the first 3 years, our District 4400:
• Doubled the number of projects with MG’s
• Doubled the number of clubs doing MG’s
• Tripled the amount of funds provided by
TRF for MG’s
 By 2010, we had established support from 20
districts
 Currently, about half of our projects are
related to our Project Fairs

Choose a project from a wide range of offers
Start (or expand) an international project
With an international project, the club fulfills
one of the requirements for the Presidential
Citation
Meet and get acquainted with local project
promoters
Foreign clubs can also offer their projects to
local clubs
Make friends
Tourism

14. District 4400 Ecuador Project Fair
 Future Vision Pilot District in 2010 - familiar with new
grant model and Global Grants. We can start projects
very quickly!!
 Experience: Countless MG projects. Since 2010,
received 27 GGs!!
 Ecuador is well known for its hospitality and
friendliness
 Exciting tours and excursions at affordable prices!!
 Galapagos Islands (The Enchanted Islands)
 Amazonian Rainforest and jungle
 Quito (first in the world to be declared UNESCO
World Heritage city 36 years ago)
