We have a strategic plan that includes priorities for growth which we review annually.
Members of the leadership team are familiar with and focussed on these priorities.
Leadership positions have clear role descriptions and are occupied by people with the right
skills and talents for the roles. Leaders function effectively as a team, putting district
priorities ahead of personal interests.
We offer orientation and mentorship support to newer leaders. We support them to
become involved in activities where their contributions can have the best impact.
To ensure that we have consistency and continuity in addressing our priorities, we involve
current, past and future leaders in collaborative decision making. We have a clear and
effective succession plan for leadership roles.
We actively pursue training opportunities that help leadership team members enhance their
Rotary - and professional - leadership skills.

impact on ourselves, our community and across the globe.

Most of our members are well informed, enthusiastic about and engaged in club efforts and
have meaningful opportunities to bring their own passions to the club.
       
Most members enthusiastically share their involvement in our club with non-Rotarians and
regularly invite prospective members to join and/or to participate in activities with us.
       
Our meetings, social events and projects are well-organized, well attended and fun! People
are keen to participate and feel energized by their contributions.
       
We make recognition and appreciation of our members a priority. There are a variety of
ways in which we show we care about each other, especially by following the Four Way Test
in all of our interactions.
       
Members’ families and friends are supportive of – and often involved in – club activities.
Children and others are welcome to participate in many of these activities.

Agility and Adaptability
Section C 1 2 3 4
We have a variety of ways for members to be involved that match their ability
to contribute. Most of our members step forward, are prepared to take
responsibility and share their resources so that a small group of people does not
do all the work.
       
Our club tries new things (activities, meeting practices and formats, service,
socials, etc.) to enrich members’ experiences. We effectively balance innovative
new ways with our important traditions.
       
Our club invites Rotaractors, Interactors, and Youth Exchange students to
participate in our activities. We intentionally seek, and are prepared to act on,
their input about our priorities and projects.
       
Our club culture is inclusive and does not tolerate inappropriate language or
humour and does not accept negative behaviours (e.g. bullying, shaming,
blaming, etc.).
       
We have an ongoing process for soliciting feedback from members and we
respond appropriately to what we learn – we change what isn’t working.

Diversity

Our membership reflects the diversity of our community (e.g., gender, age, education,
profession, ethnicity and more). We intentionally strive to be attractive in ways that
support increased diversity and reach.
       
We make it a priority for our members to share their varying cultural and professional
backgrounds so we can increase our impact.
       
Our projects and activities recognize the unique generational, cultural, social and
professional needs of our members. This includes their time and financial resources.
       
The ways in which we do things evolve and are appropriate for the diversity of our current
membership as well for those we would like to attract.
       
We consult community members and leaders to determine needs before choosing a project.
We actively seek partnership opportunities so that we can have the greatest possible
impact and reach.

We effectively balance innovative new ways with our important traditions.         Our club invites Rotaractors, Interactors, and Youth Exchange students to participate in our activities.
