IGNORE OR IMPROVE?
2. How can we detect the issue before it turns into a
problem?
What can we do to raise the awareness and
readiness for early return?
How can we make the student feel safe enough
to talk about the issues?

IGNORE?
By arguing and blaming the student alone, we are ignoring the
real problem
By ignoring the early return as a whole, we can’t solve the
problem, which means we can not improve

Change the attitude we have towards the early return
We should learn from early return, not try to hide or ignore it
Instead of ignoring and forgetting the students that end their
exchange program as a early return we should learn from them
and help them when they get back to their home countries, e.g.
get-together, discussions, etc.
