  2. Simple Keep track of learner progress through the xAPI State API. Present them with the objective but guide them through the process with only relevant instructions when needed One welcome page URL to access and manage everything. Integrated We brought together several systems (Welcome Page, SimWriter, HTML, Watershed LRS, Pre & Post Survey, Compliance tool, global login) The learner was presented with a natural progression of events which to their eyes seems as one system. User information was passed from system to system. We always knew who they were.
  3. Exploratory Wanted the learner to feel like they could explore (rewind, time machine) Implemented scenario-based simulation that placed the learn in a real-world problem Allow them to try different paths and see the different outcomes without repercussions or a poor completion score.
  4. Data rich We passed Tin Can statements with almost every user click/interaction. Even though we had defined the data we wanted to collect we gathered additional data to analyze it later.
