3. Where is located?
Neiva is between two
mountains, the central
range and eastern range
(Andes mountains) in the
Magdalena Valley and near
to Magdalena River.

Neiva City
Neiva is located in the
departmen of Huila, It is in the
north of department, but Huila
is in the south of Colombia.
Neiva is the biggest city of
deparment, the city is bigger
than Pitalito (another city of the
department, located in the
south).

5. How is Neiva?
Do you want to know how is Neiva?
Of course, you want to know.
Neiva is near to the Magadalena river, because that is warm, the
other city (Pitalito) is near to the mountains because that Neiva is
warner than Pitalito and Pitalito is colder than Neiva. Neiva is
bigger than Pitalito and has more Universities and Museums.
Neiva is called the Capital «bambuquera» of América or the
capital of Magdalena River, the city is considered one of
Metropolitan of Colombia

6. How is Neiva?
Its metropolitan area has one
economy based in food, ecoturism,
comerce and industry.
Neiva is one important city in south
Colombia.
And, I forget Neiva has the most
important festival in middle on
June and July. It is called San Pedro
y San Pablo and «el reinado
nacional del bambuco». They are
amazing festivals, probably the
biggest festival in south Colombia.

7. What is the weather like?
 Its temperature ranges are from 21 to 35°C. This is a warm
City.
 The coldest months are April, November and December
 The warnest months are August and September.

8. Where to go?
 Places to swim: El juncal or thermals
of Rivera
 Parks: Mohan Isle, Santander Park,
Children´s park.
 Monuments: The mohan, The Fisher,
Colombian horse, The Gaitana, «los
potros»,
 Discothecas and restaurants:
Manhatann, Machupitchu Peru
gourmet, los fundadores terraza bar.
 There are so many place to go and
they are amazing.
