Project Objective
Implementation of PIM to US based largest Office supply chain store to collect supplier and legacy product data
for mastering and publication to over 2,000 stores worldwide in 26 countries & E- commerce
channel like Staples Advantage for exclusive enterprise level business. This involves automatic
import and export of product data with workflows set up for different user communities per line
of business.
Project Description
The goal of this project is to implement optimized workflows that are designed to meet the needs of an existing
item setup and update process and the business goal of scaling up SKU count, item throughput
and to enable the vendor and partner integration via the PIM system. User setup for PIM
application, design of various Imports, Export & Report jobs and master data handling and
Rectification as per requirement are the other functionalities of this project. Presently 12 million
SKUs information are successfully handled by this application. Another part of this project is to
24*7 supports via on-call and desk-support.
Role and Responsibilities
• Creating Report, Import and Export jobs based on
client requirement
• Functionality enhancement and performance tuning
• Provided value added services like Bulk Approval, Bulk Active/De-active group of users etc.
• Developing utility scripts using WPC scripts and WQL
• Unit Testing
• Provide support and defect fix during System Testing

CDI-MI is a Java based web application, which acts as a gateway to other applications that require data from the
CDI Data Warehouse. This application is a virtual platform that sets-up and validates access to MSTR projects

CDI-SI is secured and auditable access of Common Data Infrastructure (CDI) data to applications via Web
Services. The purpose of different CDI-SI web services are to provide Payment Details, Fraud Details, Exception
Details, Account history depending upon the various business criteria like date, transaction history, card
number, transaction id etc.CDI-SI build an infrastructure that serves data, synchronously or asynchronously,
from disparate sources like Ab Initio graph, OLAP databases, CDI warehouse database to any requesting
applications.
