Task: Head of reservation and revenue department direct report to DOSM & Africa Revenue , dotted to GM - Facilitate and drive the Hotel business strategy ensuring optimum yield and revenue opportunities for the property - Initiate and drive the weekly revenue meeting and appropriate follow-Up and action. - Measure total revenue performance against strategy and targets - Actively monitors the competitive environment and elaborates revenue optimizing tactics and strategies in order to maximize the RGI - Development the strategic business plan process with sales - Enhance yield management techniques - Maintain channel strategies and rate parity - Contribute to the design of the hotel’s business strategy and Revenue targets - Work with Sales to set-up guidelines for decision making process in regards to pricing, group quotes and contracting. - Monitor Channel representation (GDS, CRO, web, 3rd parties - Maintain allotments process and review production - Spot check the quality of data handling and maintain manual documents - Define revenue related configuration (account set up, rate set up, tracking, market segmentation, room types, event types, Geographic Origin of Business) as per Move pick standards within the PMS.
