Place: Moevenpick Elgouna Resort - 554 (5* Hotel)
Task: Co-ordinate with the head office in Dubai to set up the next gen room type superset (a
committee headed by me consists of market manager, 2 reservation supervisor, 1 reservation agent,
rooms division and front office manager) to be in conjugation with CRS, PMS, and MHR website as a
first step for 2 ways system mapping interface implementation.
- Business sales calls in co-ordinate with DOSM to TA agent in Hurhgada
Task Force as Reservation & Revenue Manager (08/2014-11/2014) - Reported to Area Africa
Revenue – GM
Place: Moevenpick Sharm EL Sheikh 302 (5* Hotel).
Task: Co-ordinate with the head office in Dubai to set up the next gen room type superset (a
committee headed by me consists of market manager, 2 reservation supervisor, rooms division and
the front office manager) to be in conjugation with CRS, PMS, and MHR website as a first step for 2
ways system mapping interface implementation
- Implement new revenue reports as per MHR standards revenue reports
- Lead the reservation team to configure the CRS system (Synix)
- Implement new concept for the upselling schema and applied in the Hotel to motivate the
reservation and FO team for upselling
- Achieved the highest Avr. With 1300 L.E which affected direct to the RGI in the property
history in OCT 2014 ranked number 1 in Naama Bay competition due to the very accurate
restrictions on website and normal booking channels.
- Trainee the reservation team with the test call standard to achieve 95% as a yearly target
- Business sales calls in co-ordinate with DOSM to TA agent in Sharm El Sheikh.
Position: Reservation Manager (12/2012 till now)
Place: Department Moevenpick Taba 424 (5* Hotel).
Task: Head of reservation and revenue department direct report to DOSM & Africa Revenue , dotted
to GM
- Facilitate and drive the Hotel business strategy ensuring optimum yield and revenue
opportunities for the property
- Initiate and drive the weekly revenue meeting and appropriate follow-Up and action.
- Measure total revenue performance against strategy and targets
- Actively monitors the competitive environment and elaborates revenue optimizing tactics
and strategies in order to maximize the RGI
- Development the strategic business plan process with sales
- Enhance yield management techniques
- Maintain channel strategies and rate parity
- Contribute to the design of the hotel’s business strategy and Revenue targets
- Work with Sales to set-up guidelines for decision making process in regards to pricing, group
quotes and contracting.
- Monitor Channel representation (GDS, CRO, web, 3rd parties
- Maintain allotments process and review production
- Spot check the quality of data handling and maintain manual documents
- Define revenue related configuration (account set up, rate set up, tracking, market
segmentation, room types, event types, Geographic Origin of Business) as per Move pick
standards within the PMS.
Over view by Market segment :
(Transient Non-contracted)
- Optimize the revenue from the Best Available Rate, Pre-Pay BAR and Package.
- Protect contracted rates from rate conflict by ensuring public rates are always in line with or
higher than contracted & marked-up rates
- Apply price recommendations by Room Category and ensure it is available on each
distribution channel, maintaining rate parity at all times
- Apply Length of Stay controls and avoid closing availability when possible
(Group business & Leisure)
- Define the group strategy, availability and pricing guidelines and communicate on a regular
basis with the sales team
- Optimize the revenue from the Group segments Fairs, Incentive, Meetings and Corporate
including function room optimization.
- Review each group request that is over the group ceiling and ensure requests are reviewed
using a displacement calculation.
- Introduce and maintain the annual calendar of events and expected demand guide
- Challenge the Sales team regarding the materialization and conversion of their enquiries
- Monitor and chase action on the group status and follow-up dates of all groups’ blocks on a
regular basis for forecasting purposes.

- Check last nights Market Share results and update Daily Benchmark file.
- Review the Comp set Daily Rates report .
- Review the pickup by market segment per day for the next 3 months
- Enter the on the books in the daily Pick-up file.
- Review last night’s Front Office Up-sell Results
- Reservations Quality Check for yesterday’s new bookings
- Review group enquiries/offer against Strategy (Displacement Calculation)
- Attend morning briefing as required and share KPI’s with the team
- Carry out Individual Reservations Quality Checks
- Review lost business in detail
- Reservations Team Brief and Daily Training Topic
Monthly Tasks
- Review last months results by segment v's Budget, Last Years and Strategy/Forecast and
update History File
- Complete the months Market Share results and update the Monthly Benchmark file and send
to ADRM (Area Director of Revenue Management)
- Complete the Monthly rolling forecast file and send to ADRM
- Pickup by market segment per month for the next 12 months (for Group pickup)
- Prepare monthly extra analysis in next Revenue Committee Meeting

property performance
- Responsible for effective implementation and compliance with all Rezidor Revenue
management standard policies and procedures (Rate Plan, rates categories, Market
segmentation, profiles, and all other PMS, CHW express related functionally)
- Perform all daily task related to inventory

Task : In charge for reservation direct report to DOSM
- Conduct Standard calls testing including call observation
- Control room rate and availability in accordance with established guidelines to maximize
