5. ● Native Apps
Native apps are installed through an application store (such as
Google Play or Apple's App Store). They are developed
specifically for one platform, and can take full advantage of all
the device features — they can use the camera, the GPS,the
accelerometer,the compass,the list of contacts,and so on
6. ● Hybrid Apps
Hybrid applications are web applications (or web pages) in the
native browser, such as UIWebView in iOS and WebView in
Android (not Safari or Chrome). Hybrid apps are developed
using HTML, CSS and Javascript, and then wrapped in a native
application using platforms like Cordova. This allows you to use
any web-native framework you want, and there are plenty of
these.
7. ● Web Apps
If you’ve ever seen the ‘mobile version’ of a site, that’s what
we’re talking about. An “app” like this loads within a mobile
browser, like Safari or Chrome, like every other website. Your
audience doesn’t have to install a web app. They don’t need to
have available space on their devices.Web apps are sometimes
designed to look and behave like apps and are in general ideal
when the purpose is simply to make content or functionality
available on mobile
