7. DEEP LEARNING - STEP 1 ”LEARN” FROM VAST AMOUNTS OF DATA
Deep learning is a type of machine learning where the AI “learns” and automatically is able to identify
data characteristics through processing massive amounts of data. (image, video, or sound data)
One typical and easy-to-understand example is where the AI learns to identify cats from processing
thousands and thousands of cat images.

8. DEEP LEARNING - STEP 2 VERIFY ACCURACY OF AI
The next step is to verify the accuracy of the AI image recognition technology used. A major breakthrough took place in
2012 when deep learning techniques developed at Toronto University (using images of cats) and Google X lab
(using video clips of cats) were able to recognize 85% of cat images/video, a much higher percentage than in the past.
Since the breakthrough in 2012, the accuracy of AI image recognition technology has gradually improved year by year.

The working hours of the Japanese people seem to be similar to the world average but some data suggests that, for male regular employees,
the overtime worked is much higher than the world average. The data also suggests not only that the number of paid holidays are
