Our customer is an international financial services provider
engaged in personal banking, credit cards, corporate and invest-ment
banking and wealth management with an extensive
presence in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia.
Business Problem Solution Overview/Highlights
The app was developed for all the smartphone platforms
including iPhone, iPAD, Android Phones, Windows Phones
and Blackberry.
Application developed had strict and stringent security
requirements as all the data exchange between the app and
the server was encrypted and secured.
Saxon Global delivered the application meeting the quality
and security standards laid down by the customer. The App
have been rated well by the users on the app stores.
Our customer in UK wanted to provide their members
with ‘member discounts’ in restaurants across UK and
Ireland. At the same time they wanted to drive more
usage of their cards and better engagement with their
customers.
Technical Highlights
3rd Party APIs used
Google geo-coding APIs were used for map and
Navigation.
Technologies Used
SOAP protocol was used for basic messaging frame-work
on which webservices were built.
LAMP was used as the backend technology stack.
Objective C, BB JDE 6.0, JDK for Android with Eclipse,
Windows Phone SDK 8.0
Security Mechanism
Dynamic Key encryption method was used to secure
the data exchange between the app and the server. It
involved a 2 step authentication process for providing
the data access. Any incorrect access on the device
was blocked.
