Use a wide screen intro image on the

the target audience is
Provide an "About" sharing intentions,
target audience etc.
Provide a link to your other social
presences

Always use an image (photo, artwork,
stock photo, screenshot...) for each
post, visualizing the content
Write posts in casual style - avoid
'corporate language‘
Think about what your audience wants
to read – not what you want to write
Avoid salesy promotion and usage of
promotional superlatives
Close a post with either a summarizing
helpful tip or a question stimulating
responses

Make it very easy to comment on a blog

through different authors

Obviously there are hundreds of little things to do and ways to improve.
