Each SOP has a regional leader serving as global leader too. The global leader takes
the overall responsibility for the writing of the SOP

The draft of all SOPs were sent to:
- National reference laboratories
- Laboratories that completed the input matrixes
for review
Working groups compiled and addressed the feedbacks received
by reviewers but noticed that:
1. Many reviewers ignored the fact that the GLOSOLAN SOPs are
the result of a harmonization process. Reviews referred to the
procedures their labs are currently implementing
2. Draft SOPs are taken for final SOPs. Some labs started to
implement them already

13. 4th Meeting of the Global Soil Laboratory Network (GLOSOLAN)
As per the decisions we made on Wednesday, a
Review Panel (1 per SOP) will do the final
review and endorsement of these SOPs
Proposal:
The GLOSOLAN coordinator and the SOP’s global leader
will select a few experts to join the Review Panel. Experts will be
identified based on the quality of the reviews they sent
