The St Paul's community has received the
sad news that Daryl Cake passed away
earlier this month, an obituary is inside.
Back to school is expensive and stressful for struggling young families.
Just Manna has received a number of requests for assistance with the
expense of school book lists. Our approach is to provide support not
charity in working with these families to cover 50 percent of the cost of
the books. All donations of over $2 are tax deductible. Cash donations
can be made to Laurel Ellis, Michael and Joan Jessup or directly to:

Doona Covers, Packing Boxes and Childrens' Clothes:
Just Manna is pleased to support the Indigenous communities of Balgo,
Fitzroy Crossing and Hall's Creek. We met with Sr Alma from these
communities this week and she has expressed a need for good quality
(pre loved) clothing for children and babies as well as doona covers
(single & double beds). Sr Alma is very appreciative of the regular
donated goods from St Paul's and Just Manna. She was particularly
thankful for the recent donation of stationery items for the children and a
large bundle of new bras purchased by a retired priest in our community!!
We are looking for pre-used cardboard packing boxes to assist with the
transporting of goods.
Thank you for your ongoing support
Just Manna

Vale Daryl Cake
The St Paul's community has received the
sad news that Daryl Cake passed away
earlier this month.
Daryl was a very private and quiet man, well
read and as a successful journalist was well
regarded in his professional field. Belonging
to St Paul's was important to Daryl. He was a
kind and generous man who was always
willing to assist Just Manna clients by using
his vehicle to relocate household goods, pick
up donated goods and assist with
decluttering homes and disposing of the
unwanted goods. He undertook this work in a
very caring and compassionate way, showing
great empathy and understanding to those
he was assisting. His contribution as part of
the Just Manna team was greatly
appreciated.
We will miss you, Daryl.
Reside in eternal peace,
Joan Jessup
