● 7.1 million jobs lost through redundancy, automation, or
disintermediation.
● Creation of 2.1 million new highly specialized jobs.
● Skills and jobs displacement will affect every industry and
geographical region.
● Net loss of over 5 million jobs by 2020 due to Technological
Advances.

Demand for software developers is at an all-time high, however….
● Narrow AI are needed to process the unprecedented amount of
data.
● Code writing code (e.g DARPA/Rice University PLINY tool).
● Automated Systems (e.g. Sysadmins).

● Drag and drop “coding.”
● Mobile industries can expect growth, however 40% of the skills
required are not yet part of the core skill set of mobile today.
