After studying electrical engineering I worked as a project engineer in the microelectronic and computer science. Since 1999 I'm working with database systems. During this time I could gain substantial experience in physical design, implementation and operation of Oracle databases, define and configure backup & recovery strategies, develop and implement database security strategies or analysis of database performance issues. My main interests include physical database design, backup & recovery, database security, database internals and everything else related to the core Oracle database technology.
