Media Exposure Through Promotions
Executed 100 to 150 live radio broadcast remotes from the Disneyland Resort, Aulani, A Disney
Resort & Spa and Disney Cruise Line each year generating approximately $4 million to $5 million in
media value annually. In addition, partnered with more than 100 TV, radio, and print media
partners in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, San Diego and Sacramento each year to execute
200 to 250 promotions in support of various marketing initiatives for the Disneyland Resort, Aulani,
Adventures by Disney and Disney Cruise Line generating on average more than $35 million in media
value annually. To date have executed over 2,000 promotions with a combined media value to the
various U.S. based Walt Disney Parks & Resorts properties of more than $300 million
TV Programming Content from Disney Properties
Negotiated and co-produced 10 TV programs that aired on various TV stations in many major
markets including Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Sacramento, New York, Chicago, Seattle
and more. Programs typically lasted 30 minutes and covered dedicated Disney properties like
Disneyland Resort, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Adventures by Disney.

Anniversary Sleepover Promotion
Created and produced a special promotion over 2009 and 2014 in highlighting the anniversary
milestones of the famous Disneyland Attraction. In 2009 I partnered with one of the top five morning
radio shows in LA back in 2009, Mark & Brian Show, on KLOS-FM. In 2014 I partnered with the
number one morning news show in LA on KTLA. In both years a winning family was selected to
stay the night in the Haunted Mansion on the actual anniversary dates from midnight to 6:00am with
a comprehensive program of Entertainment experiences that kept the families “busy” all night long
while the entire evening was captured live on the internet for the world to watch garnering over 100
million impressions
KTLA Morning News Broadcast from the Disneyland Resort
Responsible for bringing out to Disneyland Resort the number one local morning news show, KTLA
Morning News, for the opening of Toy Story Midway Mania in 2008, opening of Cars Land in 2012
and the launch of the 60th
Diamond Celebration in 2015. From 7:00am to 10:00am the full morning
news team covered multiple topics from the three grand opening or launch events highlighting new
attraction and Entertainment offerings, as well as numerous other Disney stories and topics from
around the Disneyland Resort
National Thanksgiving Turkey Campaign
Oversaw and partnered with the Turkey Federation and United Airlines to produce the 1st
-ever
Pardoned Thanksgiving Turkey transport following the pardoning ceremony at the White House in
Washington D.C. to Disneyland Resort to be a part of the Thanksgiving Day pre-parade creating the
most media exposure for Disneyland Resort throughout 2005 with over 3,000 hits in some top
newspapers and syndicated including New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, USA
Today, Chicago Tribune, Reuters, Associated Press, plus 60,000 online hits. A number of countries
2. around the world aside from the U.S. generated 1,500 broadcast hits including China, Japan, France,
Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Mexico and Australia
Hong Kong Disneyland Grand Opening Dignitaries & Senior Level Company Executives Visit
Directly responsible for producing and managing the visit of the Vice President of China and
managing the protocol efforts with the CEO and COO of The Walt Disney Company in connection to
the Chinese government visit on the official grand opening day to the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort
Global Campaign Media Launch
Managed and produced all of the press components for the 3-day event launch of the 50th
Anniversary of Disneyland Park. During the multi-day launch nearly 900 on-site print and online
reporters, 300 newspaper/websites including New York Times, USA Today, Los Angeles Times,
Washington Post, Miami Herald, San Francisco Chronicle, Orange County Reporter, Variety, New York Daily
News, etc. In addition Reuters and Associated Press moved over 150 images from the event that
included key moments with Julie Andrews, Steve Martin, Tim Allen, Leann Rimes, Art Linkletter,
John Lasseter and others.
ABC Network Initiatives at Disneyland Resort
Led and partnered with ABC Network PR team the Press Interview Location (PIL) for the ABC Super
Soap Weekends and ABC Primetime Preview Weekend events both held at Disney California
Adventure Park. The PIL for ABC Primetime Preview Weekend in 2003 & 04 generated nearly 96
locked down interview opportunities for various TV media partners, as well as for print and
bloggers. For ABC Super Soap Weekends in 2003 the PIL allowed trade media partners from TV,
print and bloggers to conduct more than 90 interviews in the four TV locked down locations
Bringing the World of X Games to Disneyland Resort
Co-Produced the X Games Xperience summer event at Disney California Adventure. In addition,
managed the daily operations, worked closely with Marketing on the promotional materials, as well
as handling all athlete on-sight management coordination for the summer event. The 6-week park
event generated a 6% increase in attendance over plan for Disney California Adventure and
generated multiple media hits and live radio broadcasts from media partners throughout Southern
California
Flashback All-Volunteer Cast Member Charity Event
Producer of Flashback – an annual show that was created by Cast Members for Cast Members as a
charity fund raiser that presented annually onstage at the Hyperion Theatre featuring the talent of
over 230 Cast Members (2005-2016). The show has helped to raise to date over $275,000 for local
Orange County children’s charities. A number of past Flashback performers have gone on to
professional theatre and in the TV and movie industry

Responsible for managing existing, as well as creating new promotions with key radio, TV, and print
partners throughout Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento and New York markets for
the Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World, Aulani - A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Cruise Line.
In addition, manage the west coast support as the point for the Disney Cruise Line.

highlighting the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage attraction. The show aired July

o Produced (11) private party events for KOST-FM and KLOS-FM with each station
delivering over $1 million in media value for each of the respective parties
o Produced (6) 30-minute TV specials highlighting various marketing messages for the
Disneyland Resort in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2015 with a combined media
value of over $500,000 for Cox Communications
o Negotiated and produced with KTLA for (2) Best Vacations programs to air on select
Tribune-owned stations in various markets with each 30-minute special highlighting
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa and Adventures by Disney. Both programs have
aired multiple times since 2014 with a media value of more than $200,000
o Negotiated and produced with KCBS2 for (1) dedicated program for Aulani, A
Disney Resort & Spa to air multiple times on select CBS-owned stations in various
markets since 2014 with a media value of more than $250,000
o Negotiated and produced with KGO-TV (ABC O&O) for (1) dedicated 30-minute
program highlighting Disneyland Resort’s Diamond Celebration that aired in San
Francisco, Salt Lake City and Las Vegas with a combined media value of more than

Disneyland Resort Special Events – Anaheim, CA 2003 to 2005

Responsible for producing events or components of major events by managing a core team of
partners and budgets, while making presentations to senior level management regarding event
development progress. Listed below are just a few examples of events:
• Produced various marketing events connected to the promotion of the grand opening of
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort
• Conceived and managed the Media Sneak Peek tour for 250 Hong Kong, Taiwan, and
Southern China media as a preview of the Hong Kong Disneyland Park prior to the
grand opening that involved Disney Company CEO & President, Bob Iger and Walt
Disney Parks & Resorts Chairman, Jay Rasulo
• Co-Produced for Disneyland Resort Public Relations, in partnership with Walt Disney World
Public Relations, Disney’s opening night reception for R.T.N.D.A. conference in Las
Vegas attendee by key stakeholders and media influencers from across the country
• Co-wrote and produced an elaborate scavenger hunt event for the Buena Vista International
Conference in Disneyland Park for 220 Disney employees from around the world
• Managed in partnership with Disneyland Resort Public Relations all logistics and
coordination of attending media for the grand opening of The Twilight Zone Tower of
Terror, as well as the official announcement ceremony for Disneyland’s 50th
Anniversary
campaign
• Produced the KLOS after hours event at Disney California Adventure Park as part of the
grand opening festivities for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror for 6,200 Guests in April
2003 that generated approximately $1 million in media value and exposure over key
western markets through the Mark & Brian Morning Show
• Managed the kid component for the Snow White – An Enchanted New Musical world
premiere event that hosted more than 50 TV, print and radio media partners from key
California markets
Harvest Crusades – Riverside, CA 2001 to 2003

Responsible for various job roles within the ministry that included:
• Managed Guest Services responsibilities and team, as well as talent support at the crusades
• Assisted with Donor Development in raising over $800,000 for the 2002 crusade events
4. • Assisted with logistical coordination on the crusade events that drew 351,700 people in 2001
and 2002 combined
• Managed the Harvest Monday Night service at The Grove of Anaheim, as well as responsible
for negotiating the contractual agreement between Harvest and The Grove of Anaheim
that provided a generous discount of 50% off the regular daily rental of the facilities
• On loan from Harvest Crusades, I was brought in by Samaritan’s Purse as a Pre-Sort
Manager for Operation Christmas Child overseeing a team of hired workers that
processed over 450,000 shoebox gifts for disadvantage children living in remote third
world countries
Disneyland Resort – Anaheim, CA 1984 to 2001

Created and managed the first-ever servicing team of three handling all Sales related group
events for the Disneyland Resort theme parks, as well as managing new and revised theme park
product development for the Sales Division.
• Managed a team of Service Managers and was responsible for maintaining annual
promotional budgets totaling more than $200,000
• Co-created corporate picnic program driving over 67,000 in first year attendance for Sales
• Spearheaded the development of Adventures in Dining Program and After Dark in the Park
program to address an untapped convention market (later to become known as Private
Parties)
• Successfully produced and executed over 400 Sales events ranging from 20 to 18,000 Guests
• Produced four Mighty Ducks charity events co-sponsored by Anaheim Sports and
Disneyland Resort at the request of the president of Disneyland Resort, Paul Pressler that
went on to raise a combined total of over $250,000 in money for Disney GOALS
• Produced one Annual Passholder private party that was a sellout event for 12,000 guests
• Produced two Harvest Day at Disneyland Park events that generated a combined total of
over $800,000 in profit to the Disneyland Resort
• Produced an event for the Governor of California at Disney California Adventure Park
during the State Democratic Convention in March 2001 for approximately 3,000 delegates
• Created and executed a birthday party event for Whoopi Goldberg at Disneyland park
• Conceived and managed two Client Appreciation Holiday events for Disneyland Resort
