Personal profiles, pages – how to share content
How to get likes – its Quality likes not the Quantity that counts! You need ENGAGED fans. If you have the budget you can run targeting FB ads. But the best way to get Likes & Fans is to create posts that inspire people to share your content. By creating great content, people will want to share. On the internet, 90% of the people are USERS, and less then 10% are CONTENT PROVIDERS. Be consistent with your style and with posting on a regular basis.
Time it right – you might have to play with this one. Eye catching images. Keep it short – less then 500 characters. Be relevant – know your audience. Use your voice – if multiple people are posting use the ~ and initials! Call to action – do you want people to share? Like? Comment? Tell them! Be creative with apps – use contests and promotions. Sense of urgency- make your news up to the minute (the museum will close today at 4 due to in climate weather but will reopen at 9 am) Be entertaining. Again, what works for your audience? Be educational – how to’s and tips.In your short post include a link! Make lists – 7 ways to enjoy our new African Culture exhibit. Be seasonable! Tailor your content to holidays!! *infographic from Shortstack
