 Currently Part of Level 4 ASPAC Network Connectivity Team which plan, design and implement
network solutions for small and enterprise businesses located in Asia Pacific region of Client Company
 Consult: Interact with business contacts to understand and gather technical requirements.
 Interact with Hardware Vendors and Telecom Service providers to attain quotations for procuring hardware
and WAN services.
 Design: Prepare and submit multiple network design and BOM (cost estimate with multiple options) to the
business, who has requested for network solution.
 Implementation: Post the delivery of hardware and other ordered services at business site, Install,
configure & test the hardware and other services as per the network solution which was elected by
business. Implementation of circuits with proper co-ordination with circuit vendors.
 Testing: Testing of hardware & circuit configurations. Providing roll out plan.
 Process/Configuration Compliance Check: Verify the newly implemented configurations with company
policies by using different tools like HP Opsware.
 Telecom Handover: Add newly implemented hardware and services to the network monitoring tool and
database which are being maintained as part of network operations
 Apart from the Build & Design work, participated in on call support for P1 issues(Two weeks in every

Main Projects Handled:
Project Name: Taipei-Multi-VRF-Shared Roof Top
Client: GE Corporate
 As the individual contributor (design & build engineer) for the project, proposed multiple design options &
BOM to the business
 Since there are multiple GE business going to share the network infrastructure proposed a more cost
effective multi-VRF solution to the business
 Configured routers, switches, wireless devices for implementing the design
 Worked with international service providers C&W (Vodafone) and Verizon for the multi-VRF MPLS circuit
termination at the site and the MPLS BGP configuration between GE and these Service Providers
 Actively involved with the voice Architects to include the voice network solutions in the design and ensured
the successful implementation of voice infrastructure at the site, which includes the implementation of IP
phones, voice gateway etc
 As part of the design proposal created network diagrams in Visio, knowledge database for the devices and
standard operation procedure (SOP) for the business operations
 Added the site assets (devices & MPLS circuits) into CMDB, DNS and monitoring tools
Project Name: GDC site build
Clients: TCS, HCL, Patni, iGATE, Birlasoft & Chinasoft
 As the individual contributor for the project, worked with multiple clients and gathered the network
requirements for the network build at each location. Based on the network requirements, multiple
GDCs(Total 6 GDCs) are built across ASPAC region
 After the design & BOM proposal, worked with the respective clients finance team for the budget approval
and purchase order release for the WAN circuit & network hardware
 Worked with different WAN circuit service providers such as Airtel (Bharati), Reliance, Tata, China Telecom
for connecting the GDCs to GE network

 Implemented the design by configuring the routers, switches and activating the WAN circuits terminated at
each sites router.
 Created network diagrams in Visio, knowledge database for the devices and standard operation procedure

 As the individual contributor for the project, multiple third party sites are built across ASPAC region
 Worked with clients architect team to gather the network requirements, especially the applications which

 To implement the project worked with WAN service providers such as Telstra, China Telecom, Singtel,
Astinet & Reliance
 Prepared firewall risk Matrix for getting the security approvals for connecting the 3rd
party sites to GE
 Configured routers, switches & Checkpoint firewalls for implementing the design

Project Name: Centralized WLC deployment (Flex connect)
Client: GE Corporate
 As part of the project, wireless access points in different GE corporate offices across china (Dalian,
Shenzhen, Nanjing & Hangzhou) has been connected to the centralized WLCs placed in Shanghai DC
 To connect production APs in different locations to the centralized WLC, the production autonomous access
points are converted to LAP
 As per the wireless survey result more access points are implemented in each location for more wireless
coverage.
 Prepared the design diagram and added newly added WLCs and access points into database and monitoring
tools
Project Name: GE Research Center WAAS deployment
Client: GRC, Bangalore
 As part of the project, WAAS box WAVE-7541 is replaced with WAVE-7571
 Post the replacement, tested application performance and shared optimization report to business
 Added newly implemented hardware to the network monitoring tool and database which are being
maintained as part of network operations
Project Name: GEHC Hub router replacement in Beijing & Shanghai Data Center
 As part of the project, replaced the existing 7200 series cisco router with Cisco ASR 1004 routers
 Successfully overcome the challenge of replacing the criticality of replacing hub routers, as there are
multiple spokes connected to each hub routers
 New routers are added into database, DNS & monitoring tools
Project Name: GEHC EOS Hardware Tech Refresh
Client: GE Healthcare (Australia/China/India/Indonesia/Singapore)
 As part of the project, analysis done for existing network setup. Suggested appropriate hardware & circuits
 Tech refresh done for 15 sites in ASPAC region
 EOS Hardware (routers, switches) in each location is replaced with new hardware
 Post configuration of new hardware, validated the application access from each site and added the new
hardware details into the database, DNS & monitoring tools
Project Name: GE business site build
Clients: GE Corporate, GE Healthcare, GE Lighting, GE Industrial, GE Energy

 Multiple GE business (GE Corporate, GE Healthcare, GE Lighting, GE Industrial, GE Energy) sites are built
across ASPAC region
 The project is completed in 4 phases

Client: GE Corporate, Brunei
 As part of the project, design (office in a box) & BOM proposed
 Identified local circuit providers at Brunei with the help of GE sourcing team
 BOM discussion/ financial approval with business. Releasing the PO for the hardware & circuits
 Completed the configuration of router, switches & access points
 Added newly implemented hardware and circuits to the network monitoring tool and database which are
being maintained as part of network operations
Project Name: GE Biz BW up gradations
Clients: GE Healthcare, GE Corporate, GE Transportation, GE Water, GE Lighting
 BW up gradation of circuits in multiple sites is completed in ASPAC region.
 The project has been completed in three phases as below:
 As part of the project Analysis of circuits (Utilization & outage) completed in phase-1
 Proposed the new BW for the circuits in phase-2
 Replaced/upgraded the circuits in phase-3
