• Ethics is a conception of right and wrong
behaviour , defining for us when our actions are
moral and when they are immoral
• Business ethics is the application of general
ethical ideas to business
• Business Ethics is the art and discipline of
applying ethical principles to examine and solve
complex moral dilemmas.
4. ETHICAL DILEMMA
• An ethical dilemma is a moral situation in which a
choice has to be made between two equally
undesirable alternatives.
• Do you agree with the two equally undesirable
alternatives?
• What about two good alternatives, wherein you
are not sure which is better, isn’t it expected of
you to do the thing which is better from an
ethical standpoint?
