recognizes eligible companies in the work truck
industry for outstanding business practices,
validating successful implementation of quality
standards.
This program is free to NTEA member
companies.

3.  Candidates must provide documentation that they
meet/exceed a given set of criteria.
 Once qualified, companies receive MVP status for a
three-year term.
 Upon term completion, companies have the opportunity
to renew by updating the necessary credentials.

9. What does it take to participate?
 Complete an MVP application and attach the required
documentation.
 To assist the process, NTEA provides the following

 Support from NTEA staff
 There is no application fee. NTEA underwrites the cost
as part of an ongoing effort to enhance the core
competencies of its members.

 As a final-stage manufacturer or alterer, you’re
required to register with NHTSA.
 Check your company’s listing at vpic.nhtsa.dot.gov.
