▪ Why Teaching? I was the youngest of four boys and I always looked
up to my older brothers. My oldest brother became a teacher and I
admired that. I was coaching elementary basketball during high
school and had so much fun working with younger children, so I
decided to take up a profession I know I would enjoy doing.

▪ I enjoy being active and playing sports.
▪ I love being around family and friends and spending quality time with them.
▪ I like reading books that I can learn from.
▪ I like watching movies that take place during the 1920’s. I am fascinated by that
time period.

women, (according to Colombia’s National Institute of Legal
Medicine and Forensic Sciences.)

▪ According to research, on average two women are raped an hour in
Colombia

▪ On average, every four days a women was murdered by her spouse
▪ Women work on average ten hours more a week than men, but
receive 20% less of their pay

of Colombia’s GDP
